Getting To DC
North, South, East or West, we’ve got you covered. Some of us call Washington home and we’re happy to help you get here.
By Plane
Washington is served by three major airports.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is located 3 miles to the south in Arlington, Virginia and is accessible by the Blue and Yellow lines on the Metro. U.S. Airways is the dominant carrier. The Yellow line connects you directly to the L'Enfant Hotel at the L'Enfant Plaza station. A Taxi to downtown will cost about $15.
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is located 25 miles west of D.C. in Dulles, Virginia and is accessible by MetroBus or MetroRail via WashingtonFlyer coach service at West Falls Church station. A taxi from the airport to the L'Enfant Hotel will cost about $55 and take 30-40 minutes.
Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport is located 30 miles northeast of D.C. and is accessible by MetroBus via the Green Line Metro at Greenbelt, which stops at L'Enfant Plaza station and the conference hotel. Amtrak and commuter rail MARC (weekdays only) offer frequent service from BWI Rail Station to Union Station in Washington, D.C. From there you can take a short taxi ride to the conference hotel or use Metro's Red Line to connect to the Yellow/Green line at Gallery Place station for a two stop trip to L'Enfant Plaza station and the conference hotel. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost about $90 and take 50-70 minutes.
