Hotel

The Arizona Biltmore is the conference site and official hotel. Attendees are required to make their own lodging arrangements. Growth Energy has secured a special room rate of $199 a night (plus taxes and fees). This rate is guaranteed available until February 12. Guests may book rooms at this rate three days before and after the conference.

Make your arrangements on the hotel web site and specify GROWTH in the “Group/Convention Code” to receive our special rate.

NOTE: The reservations web site indicates that a $28 resort fee will apply for all reservations. The Biltmore has assured us that they will waive this fee for reservations made using our Group Code.

About the Biltmore
Built as one of Phoenix’s first resorts in 1929, the Arizona Biltmore was constructed in grand form by brothers Albert, Charles and Warren McArthur. Frank Lloyd Wright served as the consulting architect, and the Arizona Biltmore remains one of the only existing hotels in the world to benefit from his influence.

Transportation

The Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is the recommended airport as it is located just 7 miles from the Arizona Biltmore Resort. The Sky Harbor Airport is home to more than 20 airlines and more than 100,000 passengers arriving and departing daily, it also serves as the hub for US Airways. Upon arrival at Sky Harbor airport, ground transportation options include rental cars, prearranged sedan and shuttle service or taxis.

ExecuCar is the premier luxury sedan service in Phoenix that offers private transportation with experienced drivers. Available service include a private sedan for up to four passengers ($33 per sedan, one-way, exclusive of gratuity). Advanced reservations are required by calling 602.232.4600 or online at www.execucar.com. After claiming baggage, call ExecuCar at 602.232.4606 and provide agent with your confirmation number. Proceed to the “Blue Diamond” area, where your sedan will arrive within 5-10 minutes.

An online discount rate of $12/person, one-way exclusive of gratuity, is available for Conference attendees for March 12-18. After claiming baggage, proceed to sign marked “Shared Ride Van Service” and provide the guest service representative with your confirmation number. The average one-way taxi charge from Sky Harbor to the Arizona Biltmore is approximately $40.
